When I was 14 there was a man digging a ditch in front of our church, along the road. I don’t know what possessed me, but I told my friend “:Come on, let”s go talk to him.” As I rambled on asking him intusive questions, my friend just stood there the whole time not saying a word or paying attention, she just waited to go on about our walk. The man kept digging and chatting with me, laughing as we talked. I don’t recall the conversation. I took advantage of his kindness and got more intrusive, asking inappropriate questions. They say if you give someone an inch, they will take a mile. I was taking the mile with this sweet hard workingan, and he was enjoying it. He never got mad, he would laugh at my humor, and I saw I could say anything,and it was freeing. Finally he stopped and looked at me and asked “I bet your really smart in school aren’t you?” I said “No, I am stupid.” He laughed and smiled do nice at me and so kindly said “No, that’s not possible.” I walked away, feeling like I had just had a conversation with an angel. To this day, I wonder if he was an Angel. There was something about hime that lured me in kept me poking at him, and admired his responds. I have been working sering why I have been taunting people lately. I think I just answered my own question. I am checking to see if they are an angel.
